Subject: In the late eighties and nineties (when I was going to most games home or away) we played Brentford a lot (22 times) in those same years we played Chelsea zero times. I just don't understand how people don't see them as rivals (plus they detest us more than any other team).
In reply to: eganonoa 's message, "Don't see the problem. Depends on the generation, I suppose, but I've never really considered Brentford a rivalry of such gravity that leads me to forever detest their players and managers just by having been there. The list of players and coaches who have come to us from Chelsea to us is a bit too long to have any major opposition except for the most odious among them (e.g. Terry)." on Wednesday, June 03, 08:42:48am
