  • SCA hits the nail on the head. Anything expressed here didn't make an ounce of difference to Silva's decision - he wanted to leave. There's perhaps a discussion to had about the reason he may have been disinclined to turn down double the salary to remain, the likely reason will also be why we'll struggle to attract the interest of a quality replacement.   • The likely reason may be TK and recruitment issues. It might though have been a wish to manage a big club, or to return home maybe for family reasons or perhaps a realisation that things were getting stale and he needed a reset. Any combination of those but we don't know and likely never will. Nor do we know who the Khans are trying to get, when they started looking and how it's going.
