Subject: He’d probably start off trying to play them as wing backs, and when that doesn’t work he’ll try to get rid of them. We’d have to see who goes first, him or them?
In reply to: Mickey 's message, "Yes agree and I’d like Amorim to come , but what does he do with Kevin and Bobb??" on Sunday, June 07, 03:20:10pm

  • Never in a million years is this current squad suited to that formation. You only have to look at the defensive players & central midfielder players to realise it would not work. You have to have the personnel to be effective for that system. Amorim of all people should know you can’t make a silk purse from a sow’s ear! • Who exactly isn't suitable? We effectively played three at the back in possession numerous times this season and last (Tete typically tucked in). Sess, Castagne and Robinson are all the right players for the wide roles. We're packed with central defenders. And we have tons of inside forward types (in answer to Mickey's question, Bobb is definitely of the type that likes to play in that role; Kevin the most winger-like seems like he could do it really well).
