Author: Marz
Subject: A little morning delight before breakfast

"Yum," Marz murmured, already eager for another kiss. He was about to pull Tristan into his arms when he noticed Eremis hovering over them. His hair was wet and he wore a heavy robe.

"I….I just followed him in here," he stammered, when he met Marz's gaze. An instant later he hurried away, once again looking like a scared rabbit.

Marz sat up, his eyes following Eremis to the pool where he sat down to dangle his feet in the water. "I don't remember all these people being in here before I fell asleep." Tristan didn't look too pleased when he turned to find a few of their companions in the sunken tub.

The temptation to join their friends in the water was great but Marz ignored it, knowing that Tristan wouldn't want to be part of such an action. Sighing, he got to his feet then announced that he'd return to the room with Tristan and wait for him to get dressed so that they could go to breakfast together.

Half way down the hall Marz stopped abruptly, groaning when he saw how haphazardly he was dressed. "You could have told me I looked like a disheveled idiot!" He shook his head once he realized he was talking to himself. Obviously, Tristan was in a hurry because he had rushed on without him, and was already entering their room.

Marz increased his pace, plowing into the room a moment later and making sure to bolt the door behind them this time. His eyes widened in appreciation when Tristan slipped off his robe, revealing a well-toned body that still glistened from his visit into the water.

After grabbing a towel from the closet, Marz approached the dragon, staring deeply into his eyes as he proceeded to dry his hair. "Since we're both alone and feeling great for a change, how about we give that bed a good workout?"

The smile that came to Tristan's face was all the incentive Marz needed. He tossed the damp towel onto the dresser then pulled off his clothes, letting them drop to the floor in a heap. He wasn't the least bit concerned with neatness at the moment. After sharing a heated kiss, they made their way to the bed, and gave themselves up to the passion that had been ignited.

Sometime later, they crawled out of the bed and got dressed, both still glowing from the aftermath of lovemaking. Naturally, Marz insisted on making the bed and tidying up the room before they left. Once that was done, they made their way down to the dining hall.

From the look that came to Marz's face, it was obvious that he wasn't too thrilled to see Dalo sitting at the table. Ignoring the beastmaster, he plopped into the chair next to Corum, pulling Tristan down to sit at his right side.

Marz threw an arm around the skull-staff wielder, pulling him close and mumbling in his ear. "I see you survived your night with Tia." He backed away from his friend when a number of zombies began delivering platters of food to the table. Luckily, there was plenty of ham, bacon, and camel steaks served along with the eggs, bread, and fruit.

Marz reached for the platter of steaks, placing one on his plate before setting the rest down before Tristan. "That should take care of that ravenous appetite of yours," he said with a grin. He moved to fill their mugs with java, putting the pot down just as Eremis entered the room, followed a moment later by Justin. The merc was attired in the same grubby clothes he wore for a week, but Eremis was dressed in a new outfit, his hair still a bit damp from his bath.

Once the healer was seated, Erlic told him that he was thinking of sending him back to Bizmar with Dalo. The look of relief that came to Eremis' face spoke volumes. "I'd really like to go back and resume my healer studies. Maybe I could also find someone at the Medieval Tavern that can teach me how to defend myself!"

"So, when they leaving?" Marz asked, anxious to be rid of Dalo. Not having Eremis around for Tristan to ogle was also a pleasant thought. He grinned when he learned that the Queen would be teleporting the pair away sometime after breakfast. Feeling extremely happy at the moment, Marz squeezed Tristan's knee beneath the table then concentrated on the food he began piling onto his plate.
