Jade smiled as Erlic said, "You did remarkably well." She turned her gaze to him, her eyes roaming his face then locking on his eyes before she said, "Thank you, darling. That's a high compliment coming from you."

She reached over and gently ran her fingers along his jaw, then winked at him.

Suddenly the cavern seemed to be filled with the most amazing variety of cursing, and Jade turned to stare at Isobel as the healer tried to bandage the frowning woman. She certainly had a mouth on her!

Jade took Erlic's hand and led him to a seat beside the fire, pouring two mugs of java and handing him one. "I don't know about you, but I could use this right now," she said with a smile before leaning over and kissing his ear.

She sipped her java, listening as Tia and Corum related recent events to the newly arrived Marz and Tristan. From the look of them she wondered what they had just been doing. Marz looked almost guilty and Tristan looked puzzled. She didn't have much time to dwell on it as Ravin began to speak.

"In an effort to save time, I thought it wise to split up into two groups," he said.

Marz volunteered to lead one of the groups, and that scrawny Jeremy kid immediately piped up that he and the strange creature Saras would go with Marz's group. Tristan of course would go with Marz, and Corum decided to as well, which prompted Tia to join them. Jade smiled, wondering if there was something between the strange guy with the staff and the little gal who looked like an elf. Barry floated down, snarking that he'd go with "the Chief", whom she gathered was Corum (though why the skull should call him "Chief" she couldn't fathom).

The huge people called Jann then divided themselves between the groups.

"Erlic and I will lead the second group. Once the others get here they can decide what group they want to join then we can go off to explore the other temples. According to the map there are only two more in the ruins, and if the Sheikh's dream was true, the Throne should be hidden in one of them." Ravin went on.

Jade smiled at Erlic. "Now... which group should I go with?" She winked. Of course he knew she would choose his group. She then got up. "Excuse me a moment, darling. I need to speak to someone."

She headed over to Marz. "Can I speak to you a moment? Privately?" She ran a hand over the reddish fuzz that was now sprouting on her scalp, waiting for Marz to follow her. He did, looking puzzled. For some reason, she noticed, Tristan looked a bit alarmed and angry.

She led him a short distance away and said softly, "I need to ask you to keep an eye out for something for me when you explore your temple. And if you could, keep it for me if you find it." She watched him, waiting for his response.
