Ratings are tanking like never before, the writing for this week in particular has been atrocious, one of your best actresses just walked off the set after a fight with your new EP who's been in position less 3 months, and finally, your fans are royally pissed.           • Writing was atrocious, dreadful, and so much worse I can tell Jillyvision has struck w/music replacing good dialogue, SPDs galore & bitchy, stupid females worse than ever. As for ratings drop, I think Jilly is blaming them on Riche/Guza still... personally I think some GH fans headed for hills noticing signs of train wreck approaching.                       • ABC daytime fans, including GH fans, will remain screwed as long as Angela Shapiro remains president. She gives Jilly carte blanche to wreak her havoc. FMB, under Shapiro, is NOT fan of Jilly NOR McHack, I'd love to see her promoted... problem is Shapiro is big on marketing ideas which appeals most to Disney, not producing creative programming.   • ICAM, Elisa and Pilar. This is a huge loss for GH, and is pretty forboding for the future of GH in jfp's hands. I'm not a huge CarSon fan as for the most part I've found the writing atrocious, but I respect SB immensely as an actress, wish her the best, and am so glad she told jfp where to go! • Wow, Pilar, I'm surprised that you like Sarah Brown so much!!! She's the reason I stopped watching GH!!! I found her character detestable and her acting one- dimensional. Her character has not grown one iota since its inception and she has never moved me emotionally! Her motivation for being "bad" was never very strong--so she was given up by her birth-mother, BIG F#CKING DEAL!! Is that suppose to explain her glee at destroying people??       • Anyways, I've always found Carly & Todd similar characters, damaged & self-destructive but survivors at any cost. To say Carly does NOT bend is like saying Todd refuses to break. And the walls come tumbling down are best scenes for Todd & Carly... SB last year in those miscarriage scenes poured her heart & soul into Carly's self-castigation. CarSon reminded me of BnT "before" McHack labeled BnT SEX "peculiar"...LOL! in fact, Carly recently had dialogue that spoke "BnT" to me, when Carly was trying to convince Sonny to let her stay with him cuz they're so much alike, she says to Sonny how destructive they both ARE to the people around them, step on people to get what they want, etc. (NT) -- jackie, 19:49:59 03/09/01 Fri
          • That's okay if only ONE half of a couple is like that but NOT both! and dialogue such as that made me remember just ONE of the reasons I don't like BnT and find CarSon boring, there IS such a thing as being so much alike you bring out the worst in each other (BnT)..               • Hey Jackie, I don't find them much like BnT in that they battle for control regularly in ALL aspects of their relationship. I see more similarities to TnT in CarSon are two fiercely independent people trying to find a balance between them. Sonny at times pulls his manipulative SOB routine & Carly gets in his face.
