  • To be honest, other parts of the show have gotten better. The situation Todd is in hasn't though. Although my complaint was further fueled by the promo, which I cannot see as a good thing, but it is not the whole reason I hate this story.       • I like Todd's one-liners and sarcastic remarks too, and that's a HUGE part of Todd's character, but what I don't enjoy is the silly behavior, which wasn't part of Todd's character in past incarnations. I'm not saying he hasn't made some bad choices, which some would consider silly or stupid, such as blowing up the Armitage yacht and the dynamite hostage thing, but that stuff was definitely not shown in a way that was comedic.   Yesterday, when I posted about poor RH and the degrading story he's involved in, a T&Ber [named Shameless] responded. I must say it brought a smile to my face--in deed it caused me to laugh out loud!!
  
  It occurred to me that T&Bers should be out celebrating on their own websites, and yet, they still feel compelled to check out what's going on here. It seems their true enjoyment lies in our misery!! How disappointed "Shameless" must have been--instead of finding us boo-hoo-ing, she found us laughing at this rather embarrassing "lovestory."
  
  I'm still laughing at Todd and Blair's "Keystone-Cops caper." It's all like some really bad cartoon adventure--Todd as Dudley Doorite, Blair as poor Nell, and Max as the villainous Snidely Whiplash!!!
  
  "will poor Nell/Blair be convicted of shooting the evil Snidely/Max, or will her hero Dudley/Todd arrive in time to rescue her!!!! Tune in next week for another episode of "Todd of the Llanview Mounties!!!"

  The saddest part of all is how my admiration of Todd's character has changed!!! I can remember a Todd who treated Max and Blair with undisguised disdain and mild annoyance--seeing them for the ridiculous creatures that they were with their greedy schemes and fumbling scams.They were mere flies in his kingdom, not his equals. Katie recently saved Lucinda from having Simon deported, so with Lily out of the picture temporarily, think Simon is seeing Katie (a young manipulator herself) in a "new" light, and Katie is Margo's sister. • Blair buy yourself a clue, history is bound to repeat itself (at least I hope so if Llanview has ANY justice left, that is!) -- Pilar, 01:35:05 03/12/01 Mon
  Spoilers indicate Blair borrows a page from Todd’s book and fakes insanity in attempt to stave off a prison sentence. Always thought Blair was a rather stupid & hyprocritical woman but this move proves it. The really stupid part is Blair could have easily relied on her PAST history to prove temp insanity WITHOUT pushing the envelope so far she puts in jeopardy her future “fitness” as a mother. Sam could have proven his case by introducing:
  
  1 Cramer curse, history of insanity running in family, including violent episodes like Cassie had
  
  2 Suicide attempt over Max further evidence of her prior “instability” over this man
  
  3 Violent attack on Tea led to forced anger-management therapy, findings which COULD easily be introduced as further evidence she’s proven unstable and violently acting out before
  
  4 Kelly’s and even Renee’s testimony of Blair’s growing instability over the Skye & Max situation
  
  Appears Blair didn’t learn a darn thing from Todd’s mistake, sure he got out of prison but it cost him dearly, custody of his beloved Starr. Blair should reap same penalty, escapes jail sentence but loses custody of Starr… at least UNTIL she gets her own act together! For over a year she’s been one highly unstable woman, and worse neglectful mother, she badly needs a wake-up call get HER act together if only for Starr's sake.
  
  Goodness knows last year I think Todd needed same wake-up call but recent T&S scenes portrayed more of “daddy” emerging & recognizing Starr’s deep need for sense of security so I have a “little” hope for him to be a better parent again to his kid, as he was before.
  
  Furthermore, I’ll be ripping Blair to shreds if she acts one second “whacked” in front of Starr after her own stance Todd was jeopardizing Starr’s sanity w/his own “act.” Actually, she’s damned if she confides in Starr or not, for in my eyes for she’s proving a terrible example for her child, exactly what she accused Todd of so many times in the past! Hyprocrite Blair was and always has been, she fits right into Llanview!
  
  It’s pretty much been a given Blair would get off for shooting Max, we saw “red haze” as temp insanity all the way. However, she and Max have NO excuse for Buke scam fraud which I want them BOTH to PAY big time for, if only cause I was forced to watch that trash for over 1 ½ years infect so many other stories!

    • PL's horrid DIDrivel/debacle was no more REAL Todd (or TnT) than THIS cr@p is Real Todd (to me). If DIDrivel is all that you judge entire TnT storyline by, that is an extremely faulty foundation to use, imo...when was Todd a grownup during TnT? how about the guy who got down on his knees and delivered a very romantic, sensual and VERY "public" proposal of love and marriage, not once but TWICE? that seemed pretty dang grownup to moi...     • Shameful, one of the main things that pulled me into the TnT story was watching Todd play the adult. I've never been really that into Todd, but liked watching him being a father trying to protect his daughter. I liked seeing him as a man running the Sun.   • I just caught the end of the promo on my tape before OLTL. I was thinking the exact thing, Trog. RH deserves sooooooo much better.
