BINGO! Pilar!! Emmy award winners supporting weaker talents is RIGHT! I have long since given up on liking any of Viki's story while Ben/MD is on canvas. I am not a fan of the actor! On another topic have you noticed GT's habit now of repeating some scenes from the previous days episode, something I have not seen on soaps in a long time and of which I am not a fan of. I suppose it's good if you've missed an episode but I find it wasted airtime to repeat what you've seen. Flashbacks, to me, are different and if they support a scene I generally enjoy them but just repetition is not my preference. I’m getting a ‘too soapy’ feeling with GT’s vision lately. Oh Tuggs, that little "habit" reminds me of Malone times. Several times he used footage from previous day to restart a scene, I can think of at least 4 times w/Marty's rape trial alone. As for "flashbacks" sheesh NONE w/Jilly and same repeated one w/GT, what did the OLTL archives burn down leaving only 1 film reels. MD sucks the life right out ES or worse elicits overacting response. As for Roger, when focus shifted to Todd, like in jailhouse scenes he just dominated the scene & totally eclipsed screeching Kassie. He was a marvel to watch w/good material & camera squarely focused on Todd & his emotions. But except for those few weeks, Roger's acting goes south around Kassie this go-around. Actually, Curious, I find my views on his acting are pretty much in line w/critics. Roger WAS most wasted talent in 2000 in SOD despite countless scenes w/Kassie. Well, THIS huge Roger/Todd fan has NEVER put him on a separate "untouched" pedastal wherein his acting can't be criticized for fear of eliciting not true fan or biased accusations. I guess it's because I've loved Todd through all his pairings, and nonpairings.
