Oh yeah, Pilar - I was watching with my Mum and we were both shocked!! Mouths open and all! lol! Todd totally yelled at Starr - but probably the worst part was that Starr was nonreactive to it. I was absolutely expecting a look of hurt or surprise or something - she only dug her heels in more. And then later Starr pickpocketed Max to get to his credit card. All I could say, is wowwww.... (NT) -- Cabbie Esq, 14:18:14 03/16/01 Fri
One note - NOT that I blamed Todd for yelling at her. I know that feeling of aggravation when your little sh*t of a child is demanding something inaccessible - demanding loudly, over and over .... and over ... (LOL ... not that MY children are like that ...) and over .... I'm surprised we didn't see Todd grab her by the scruff of the neck to give her a spanking. Again - yesterday was weird - GT going for laughs.. (NT) -- Cabbie Esq, 14:23:23 03/16/01 Fri
Well, Cabbie, only can say the day Todd spanks his child will be one sorry day for this Toddaholic & final proof Todd Manning I loved is long gone! Anyways, I'm not dissappointed Todd yelled at Starr as much as how it sounds he did it, sounds like XMas scenes w/their childish bickering more than daddy & Shorty scene we got last week. Writing has DID, can't make up its mind what Todd will show up from one week to another. (NT) -- Pilar, 14:51:28 03/16/01 Fri
The Voice said yesterday that "Todd doesn't have his daughter anymore, he has a new pint-sized nemesis." *sigh* Every second of that hurt yesterday, and for me, it's not funny or entertaining, it's the mishandling of something integral to Todd. IA, Cabbie, total mouth-hanging open experience for me too. (NT) -- m&m, gloomy at the memory of that whole 'bit' yesterday, 15:50:39 03/16/01 Fri
What makes this far more painful is T&S had just rebonded last week in an especially heartwarming scene... I'm having whiplash by abrupt character changes from week to week. (NT) -- Pilar, 16:05:23 03/16/01 Fri
IA, Pilar...I've lost a lot of trust and faith in this genre because of those kind of games and inconsistency, and when it comes to favorites, I'm really out of patience with that whole 'back and forth' deal. That's big time damaging to GT's vision, because to swing back tells me that he does know better, and then to reverse tells me he's not strong enough to back that up and promote consistency in that knowledge. I don't want the tease-appease cause the fall after is only worse, IA. (NT) -- m&m of the Crispy variety ;), 16:22:10 03/16/01 Fri

Pilar, sounds like you had a fun afternoon. I remember rushing home from school everyday to not miss Dark Shadows. Talk about camp and bad acting, but it was all the rage back then. So, yep, your niece could be well on her way of soap addiction. BTW, I'm a 'cool aunt' too, but my little niece is 23 this year and getting married, snif, snif. (NT) -- Tuggs, 11:17:46 03/16/01 Fri
Oh Tuggs, loved Dark Shadows myself oh Barnabus Collins shivers I loved that storyline especially when they went into the past. But though it was campy & over the top alot I never thought it was MEANT to be funny... while I think Reilly intentionally makes Passions a hoot from the parody I saw! (NT) -- Pilar, 12:30:59 03/16/01 Fri
Congrats on your niece's marriage btw. Wow, I really can't imagine my Katie getting married, sniff sniff, I had trouble when she outgrew Disney movies for goodness sakes! Yikes, buying her Blink 182 CD for her B-day took all the "coolness" I could muster! LOL! She's more my surrogate daughter than anything since she spent lots of time w/me in her early years. (NT) -- Pilar, 12:34:46 03/16/01 Fri
Yep, my niece is my surrogate daughter too! I'll never forget the day she called me when she was about your Katie's age and said "Guess what Auntie, if Mom & Dad die, you get me!" The kid's a hoot! Or brace yourself for the future, when my niece called me much later telling me the first time she had sex, I was like "Whoa, I'm not ready for this!!" (NT) -- Tuggs, 13:19:44 03/16/01 Fri
Oh Tuggs, I got that phone call but it was years ago from my godson since I was to raise him in my best friend's will. Luckily for Katie, her alcoholic dad got his sh!t together & she's NOW got two parents to love & raise her. Now I just spoil her to death as only an auntie can! Heck, now I get to spoil her & her little bro, Daniel Stephen, as much as I want w/out being "responsible" one! *VBG (NT) -- Pilar, 14:35:33 03/16/01 Fri
OMG, Tuggs, no I'm NOT ready for Katie & sex. She's already drop dead gorgeous, no bias, she actually had photographer interested in her modeling but sis said no way, thank goodness. Katie has hazel green eyes w/long think dark eyelashes & beautiful blond hair, my bro-in-law says he might need a gun to beat off the boys! LOL! (NT) -- Pilar, 14:39:52 03/16/01 Fri
Remember Quentin's theme? I also remember that actor was the hunk of the day. I loved the suspence you felt, you really were on the edge to find out what would happen the next day, it was great fun. (NT) -- Tuggs, 13:04:24 03/16/01 Fri

Poor Jules, that goes above & beyond the call of duty, thanks! ~g~ Frankly, I've got whiplash from changed Blair pregnancy spoilers, I’ve only been hearing & posting about subject since last Nov, I’ve grown bored by it already. (NT) -- Pilar, 10:02:14 03/16/01 Fri
Thanks Jules, we can always count on you for telling us the truth!! I think you deserve a raise..LOL (NT) -- Debbie(flolofan), 10:46:58 03/16/01 Fri
What???? You mean someone has soooo little time on their hands that they made up phony scoops?? Well, color me surprised, LOL! Thanks for the facts, ma'am. ~g~ (NT) -- Nic, 11:38:36 03/16/01 Fri
The question is, WHO made it up? If you take a peek over at TT you'll see that the majority of the T/B fans over there DON'T want Blair pregnant again. I don't get the motive behind this one. (NT) -- Todd War Survivor, 13:20:57 03/16/01 Fri
I would think it's just someone who likes to 'stir the pot or hornets nest' and sit back and watch. Personally it doesn't bother me, just someone else idea of 'entertainment.' (NT) -- Tuggs, 13:43:33 03/16/01 Fri

Thanks for bringing this over, Apricot. Sounds good to me, too, with the same exception as you. And, I especially like the FL tidbit, although I think if she does return it's gonna be a lot sooner than Nov. Seems highly unlikely to me that she'd be gunshy about returning, but would commit herself to something that's 8 months away. We'll see, I suppose! (NT) -- Nic, 20:50:58 03/15/01 Thu
Who originally wrote this? Someone reliable, or at least known to us? I hate to say it, but it sounds like a bunch of internet rumors strung together. And who wants to wait till next November anyway! (NT) -- TNTLurker, 20:51:22 03/15/01 Thu
Thanks Apricot. Interesting...again with all these rumors! (g) Well, again, I am learning to take anything read on the 'net with a grain of salt but I do think I agree with Nic in that a FL/Téa return would probably be sooner, IMO. I mean, November? Well, if it's letters and opinions they want, I will continue to write for FL/Téa Delgado and have a great story for her in addition to my TnT. :) Yup, we'll see. (NT) -- Jules, 21:16:57 03/15/01 Thu
Beam me up Scotty! This is a TNT board right? LOL IA that this is a great time to be writing to Tomlin to let him know that we want nothing more than a return of the TNT magic. No substitutions will do! There is only one Todd for Tea, one Tea for Todd and One Life for THEM to live *G*! I plan on writing for them to return her to him ASAP! -- Carol, 21:18:31 03/15/01 Thu
It is actually a post originally on MediaDomain, by someone named Cherry. There are the usual pro- and con- responses from other posters. I just loved the FL part .....eom. (NT) -- Apricot, 22:35:18 03/15/01 Thu
Ditto Apricot...the hope of that part coming true is 'nice to look at and to think about'... either way it always stands that I hope to see that return come true, and I love the thought of in-depth story for her character, and maybe some family too. Del captured me in his short stint, so that's another cool thing to play the 'what if' game in my thoughts...I'd love to see her return, great story, and more connections this time. Anyway, thanks! :) (NT) -- m&m, 00:11:30 03/16/01 Fri
Hi Apricot, thanks sharing this post. My .02 cents, 1) Weird that suit referred to is "HE" when I'd say it's a SHE, as in FMB, who doesn't care for FOJs nor JFP. SHE brought in LB as co-HW when GT just wanted CW. 2) Sort of weird reaction on FL news, "gunshy" was word used HERE first to describe FL feelings about return. Also, Nov timeframe makes very little sense to me, based on Roger news, strike & FL career move. 3) Where's Dorian news? GT's wants Dorian back by end of May sweeps. (NT) -- Pilar, 05:35:52 03/16/01 Fri
JMHO, the shoot the messenger routine has gotten old for me at least. (NT) -- Pilar, 05:45:41 03/16/01 Fri
My back kinda goes up at your #2, too, Pilar. Perhaps the writers are thinking in advance due to spoilers, but who's to say FL would be interested and would commit to something so far down the line if she's gunshy to begin with??? Given the strike, she's gonna take work when/where she can get it, not wait nearly a year. (NT) -- Nic, 11:44:15 03/16/01 Fri
Daytime Emmy Nominations! Congrats you ATWT fans, looks your soap got well-deserved recognition while OLTL got what it deserved, zilch! -- Pilar, 09:59:49 03/14/01 Wed

I was surprised that MB got shut out, I thought his work on Carly's losing their baby was outstanding. (NT) -- Tuggs, 11:48:46 03/14/01 Wed
Wow! Not surprised about OLTL being shut out, but I am about GH- there was some amazing work this year. Particularly with MB and SB. And, petty as it may sound, even though some of the actors may have done some good work on OLTL, I'm glad the show was shut out of the big categories- proves a point. (NT) -- Nic, 11:59:55 03/14/01 Wed
MB wasn't shut out. Maurice declined to put his name in. He didn't think he had two good episodes. And ER (Bianca) *was* nominated, at least according to the list I saw on Soapzone. And so were JD (Leo) and RB (Greenlee)--cool! And I just started watching ATWT again (it was my FIRST soap from like 20 years ago!) and it was awesome! I love SB and think she always does wonderful work, but I am not sure that MB and SB bring out the best in each other, acting wise. (NT) -- Monica, 12:51:52 03/14/01 Wed
Thanks Monica, personally I love MB's work and I could have helped him pick out several episodes. The bits I've read, like any backstage politics, sounds like daytime emmy's nomination process are a bit screwy. From what I understand an actor or a producer can submit episodes for consideration. But if an actor does not submit, can a producer override that actor and send in the 2 episodes for consideration if the actor doesn't want it? (NT) -- Tuggs, 13:37:01 03/14/01 Wed
I've been TRYING to watch ATWT for years. There was one episode that had me relax my remote finger, Lucinda and Iva finding out about the babies. 2:00 hr I have GH, GL, ATWT, and Passions, the GL held my attention the whole hour Friday, a first in a long time. Jackie this is great news!! TIIC will see that NEW MEAT don't stink!!!!! -- jane, 13:25:59 03/14/01 Wed
Monica, sorry I saw short list of Emmy Nods & forgot younger actress category, I caught a little LesBianca story & felt ER deserved a nod// Megan, ICAM SB was robbed but then I heard she submitted first time in Lead Actress category so maybe it's age that failed her more than anything there? As for crappy writing that's how I felt for Roger in 98, Spam's fiasco ruined his chances. (NT) -- Pilar, 09:53:47 03/16/01 Fri
