Subject: Scott, I'm a Libertarian and I don't feel a closer affinity to either party and I don't think Katz should either but then again I don't have a radio show that depends on ratings so I don't have to kiss anybody's ass - maybe he just HAS to.
In reply to: Scott Tilde 's message, "Probably because, as a Libertarian, he feels a closer affinity to Republicans than Democrats. Democrats are never going to pay Libertarians heed. Republicans occasionally do. Libertarians know the only way they're going to get any common sense into government is through Repubs, not Dems. Hey, am I the only one who's not cynical on this board? What's wrong with me?" on 01:11:53 04/11/03 Fri

[> [> [> So Tec, you really think that libertarians have an equal chance of getting an audience with either Repubs or Dems? Libertarians want a smaller government. Dems don't. Repubs say they do and some actually do. Those have got to be the better odds, no? -- Scott Tilde, 11:53:23 04/14/03 Mon

[> [> [> [> You do have a point there Scott. If the Libertarians have a chance with either party it would be the Republicans...then again I was NEVER a Republican. I was a Democrat before I woke up. Thankyou Irv Homer. My point was really that I wanted Jeff Katz to just speak his mind - if indeed he really has something worth saying. I'm still not sure yet with him - but he he is the ONLY one on the station with some potential. -- Tector Gorch, 14:03:32 04/14/03 Mon
