Subject: It's fading because people like me (an avid talk radio fan for 15 years) are starting to bail out (I now have days that I don't turn it on at all) - no one wants to listen to just one side - talk radio is now beyond stale, it's the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over again. This could bring it to life with one station playing off of the other.
In reply to: "Vince From Villanova" (Quick! Give James Carville a mic!) 's message, "All liberal, all the time? It just might work. This part of the article had me laughing though: "At the same time, right-wing hosts are fading." Oh, really? Explain Savage gaining 8 million listeners in 3 years, or Hannity getting 10 million within 1 year. That ain't "fading," no matter what the meaning of the word "is" is." on 09:44:13 05/22/03 Thu

[> [> [> The ratings numbers nationwide disagree with both you and the Commondreams.org article. Conservative talk radio is not in trouble. But we both agree that an all-liberal network, if done right, could help talk-radio in general. As much as I dislike CC as a company, I look forward to seeing what they can do with this. -- "Vince From Villanova" (Has CC called Alan Colmes yet?), 03:05:01 05/24/03 Sat
