Subject: You know I don't "get" why MSNBC puts on Buchanan and Press at that time of the day. Who do they think will be home to watch? Wouldn't they get higher ratings if they aired it at night? I don't agree with everything Buchanan says but I would watch his show if it came on at a reasonable time.

Replies:

[> [> Buchanan & Press may be in the bullpen. MSNBC isn't exactly overflowing with high numbers at night and Chris Matthews desperately needs a lead-in. I wonder if they're rethinking the firing of Curtis & Kuby? -- Tilde, 16:23:28 11/27/02 Wed

[> [> [> Hey, someone's listening in... from Drudge today: "I would bet GE will shake up the schedule one more time, perhaps move BUCHANAN & PRESS to nights, give [Minnesota Governor Jesse] Ventura a go," predicts a top executive from a rival network, who asked not to be named." The exec also predicts that MSNBC could be shut down. Nah. They'll just rerun NBC stuff. Nobody gives up a viable cable slot. -- Tilde the Cable News Strategist, 16:54:10 12/05/02 Thu
