This is the response I received from WPHT on dropping the weekend edition of Coast to Coast.

Coast to Coast will no longer air Saturday and Sunday nights. Yes we will
air infomercials beginning at 1am each night. These nights provide the least
listenership and therefore the least disruption when infomercials air. I
know this doesn't help you since this is a program you enjoy. Thanks for
listening and we hope you will continue to listen when you can.

WHAT A WASTE OF A 50,000 WATT CLEAR CHANNEL RADIO BEACON.

Thanks for finding out the truth. It makes me sick. It's like they are saying that weekend listeners aren't worth anything so 'lets just make some easy money since we have to be on anyway.' I won't be tuning in at any time on the weekends now.
It is a shame that such a rich resource like a 50K watt station is being dismantled right before our ears. Shame on your, Grace, you have more to do than carry Mike's attache case around DC. You need a wake up call, or a relocation.
