Like Kevin Anderson, Siddle, who is originally from North Carolina, played this year with Hargrave Military Academy. He is a quick 5-11 point guard who can score, and is a good student, having been recently named to the Hargrave "Commendation List" (for cadets with GPAs of 3.3 or higher). Can't speak for whether he was an A-10 caliber player, but apparently a smart young man who, I'm sure, chose a school he was comfortable with. Yet one more positive indication of the kind of student-athlete Whittenburg has been seeking for Fordham, much to his credit. If he played considerable mintes for the #2 Prep team in the country (where signee Devine could barely get off the bench) got to believe he is A-10 caliber. Question is did we stop recruiting him or did he really pick G-Web over us? (NT) -- DebataRam, Fri April 15, 2005 13:09:58
- It's possible, but there are two things to consider. First off, just because the paper claimed that Gardner-Webb beat those three schools out, each of the three may not have offered him a scholarship, but may have just shown some degree of interest.
