The baseball team, by all accounts, is playing heads-up, solid, fundamental ball. In the process, the team is doing a fine job representing our school, and winning some games. So why not reward the team by acknowledging its effort, and the fine job that our young coach is doing? The kids on the team members plainly like their coach, so in rewarding the coach, we'd be telling the team members that we're proud of what they are doing out there.     • I can agree with that. That's why I said we should "consider" dropping the interim label. But whatever, we should acknowledge the fine job Restaino is doing. He took a program that had gone off the track, and he has it back on the track under some difficult circumstances. With no home games, and an interim coach, it could have been easy for the team to mail this season in. Restaino took a heap of abuse from the know-it-alls on this board before the season.
