Subject: We follow the progress of over 250 high school Sailing teams plus the 15 - 17 year old kids, who do well at the hundreds of junior regattas throughout the country, mostly during the summer. I race Sunfish on the national circuit and post recruitment messages on their board, plus our 138 member Afterguard membership constantly provides leads, and I follow up with every one of them. This year, our Potential Recruits e-mail list has about 30 prospects. Experienced female crews are more plentiful than experienced female skippers, which is why the number of schools in our conference with women's teams is half that of the number with coed teams.
