Subject: Yes, that would be a nice place to start....but a lot more than better-painted walls and brighter lighting are required. Quality of life issues are very important to recruiting students in an increasingly competitive marketplace. While it may seem an incredibly silly issue to include in college selection, the reportedly poor food at Fordham figured in the decision of a few young people I know who decided to go elsewhere. Our campus is beautiful and our academics are first-rate, but many other aspects of campus life (including athletics) need a lot of improvement.
