Frank is up to his ears in work: (1) Presiding over a fourth decade of athletic mediocrity and losing records in most sports; (2) Hiring AND RETAINING bad coaches; (3) Losing good FU coaches to other schools; (4) Not advocating for a new basketball arena or expanded football stadium; ( 5) Strenuously avoiding any effort to seriously market FU athletics or make attendance at games an enjoyable experience for spectators; (6) Waiting for that "hundred-million-dollar check" to come in, rather than proactively building a broad base of support among alumni & friends of Fordham; (7) Ingatiating himself to Jeff Gray and a few other well-connected people who provide him lifetime tenure; (8) Approving a downgrading of our FB schedule (Marist etc.) at the very time we should be moving up; (9) Failing to sell the new administration on the usefulness of a first-rate athletic program in raising our profile and expanding our applicant pool; (10) Working on his golf game. -- Fordham Rams Basketball Message Board
