Subject: In Hill's 2nd year the tournament was in Raleigh, at NC State. We played Charlotte the first night and lost, then played Penn and won.

  • In Nick's first year as coach we played UNC in Greensboro on the way back from Hawaii and we lost in overtime. Mark Taylor was our point guard and Danny O'Sullivan more than held his own against JR Reid. Our last game in Hawaii was against Rhode Island (Penders was their coach) and he made his famous comment that if his Rhode Island team lost to Fordham he would swim back to California from Hawaii.
