He would be a very interesting choice. There's been a lot of commentary about looking for a Latin American b/c of the Church's growth there or someone who has experience w/ the Islamic world, but I think there's a good chance we will see a new Pope who can further help to reconcile the split between Rome and the Orthodox world.
