Subject: If memory serves me correctly, the last time Fordham played Syracuse, Fordham won. Syracuse has been running scared since.

  • SU, If the dictionary used a picture to illustrate the word "arrogance," your face would be there. Making excuses for a humiliating loss--and whining about bad calls by refs--is what one expects from losers, not from a championship program. Have you ever read anything by the psychologist Alfred Adler? He talks about the psychological mechanisms of "compensation," and how people with a sense of inferiority often vacillate between boastfulness & bullying on the one hand--and whining & rationalization on the other. Your psychological characteristics seem quite similar to those of the self-important felons/bullies who typically play for Syracuse. (NT) -- Headshrinker, Wed April 06, 2005 11:05:26
  • Syracuse players can't place a psychologist unless you tell them what prison he works at. (NT) -- John, Wed April 06, 2005 11:14:10
