That's an excellent idea, Dogbite, and, a possible money maker, if handled correctly. The powers that be, would have to get the roundball rollin' right now, if this event is to be properly advertised, promoted, and, presented. A detailed commemorative volume, documenting the 1971 team, with all of its many accomplishments, including: loads o' photos, all the box scores, newspaper articles, player profiles, and, stats, what they did after they left Rose Hill, as well as what they're doin' now, might be put together by the Sports Editor of The Ram. The epic tome could then be distributed to the faithful, for a few bucks over cost, and would be destined to become a collector's item. This forum could solicit possible titles for the project. Let's see if Tubby Tom can really do something positive and productive, instead of walkin' around on campus, with his tail between his legs for the next eighteen months. JD, I'm not attackin' Tom, I'm tryin' to give him a way out, give him some credibility, and ultimately, help him salvage his job. I was soliciting feedback re: the concept of a 1971 commemorative volume. Instead of commenting on the suggestion, you chose to murder the messenger and ignore the message. This is reminiscent of your actions at the RHG durin' the game with Duquesne, when we witnessed a "laying on of hands' by "Father Joe". You and your partner in crime, known around these parts, as "The Rose Hill Strangler", may well constitute a danger to themselves and to others, and you have the temerity to advise me to grow up ? That's like the owl tellin' the sparrow he's got a big head ! Admonitions aside, you and RB share a wealth of information concerning the history of the 1971 team. Help Tom in the gathering of this material, and look into getting it published. That's movin' in a positive direction, and will put coin into the coffers.
