Subject: The Mount Vernon kids seem to aim for the highest possible high profile team without considering whether it is the best possible situation. I hope Chris does not find himself in the same unhappy situation as Keith Benjamin, who saw about two minutes per game at Pitt this year.

  • When I saw that we're reported to have offered the kid from Providence who was a Lappas recruit at UMass, I kind of figured we were out of it with Lowe. I hope Kevin Anderson is practicing his foul shots and his jumpers from three-point range. And McCrae should be thinking point guard too. We may need both of them to perform big time next year. I think we should not award the scholarship if we can't get a top PG. (NT) -- Drag-less, Wed March 23, 2005 14:20:14
