DW and staff have been recruiting like madmen since the day the season ended and - well, here's a realistic scenario for a conversation between DW and recruit Craig Austrie: Austrie - " 'Coach, how long are you under contract to Fordham?' DW - 'Well, until the '06-'07 season'. Austrie - 'That's two years from now. How do I know you'll be there for four years if I sign'? DW - 'Well, Craig, I'm negotiating with Fordham right now for a contract extension'.   - He lurks up in the far corner of the top level trying to be invisible. Has anybody ever talked to him? He has to be one of the most obnoxious people I've ever met. I have not met one alum that likes him or thinks he should exert any power over athletics. He is a bigger problem than Frank M. , amazingly. I know that's hard to believe, but it's true.     - I've never met the man, but I hear from multiple sources (alums, faculty, one undergrad) that Gray is a total a**hole....a wannabe jock who likes to stride around like he's Vince Lombardi. He apparently has an authoritarian personality, and gets his jollies by pushing people (esp. students) around. He's in the tradition of Father Farricker (I trust that some of you older alums remember him), who used to put on sneakers, and hide in the bushes with a flashlight trying to catch guys coming back from the bars to Martyrs' Court.
