I'm very happy Herb Sendek has NC State in the Sweet 16. There was some talk about his being on the "hot seat" if the Wolfpack didn't make the NCAAs. Now he seems secure for a couple more years at least. I don't know if NC State would have been interested in DW for their coaching job, but I'm sure DW would be interested in coaching his alma mater and getting back into the ACC. May Herb Sendek enjoy continued and prolonged success in Raleigh, while DW makes himself king of NYC. For a variety of reasons Fordham has great potential to become the "big-time job", rivaling St. John's as NYC's other power team. I don't expect sports writers to stake their reputation on such possibilities given our history over the past few decades, but I think DW would certainly be smart enough to see that potential.
