Subject: I too do not want the sports editor fired. If he is fired, then we should open up on the editor-in-chief and ask for an explanation. Unless there are long-standing other complaints about his writing, he should not be fired; he should learn.
In reply to: Ram '05 's message, "I am a Fordham student and I know a few people that work on The Ram. It is unconfirmed but I have heard that the editor in chief is very unhappy with the backlash about Cataldos Overtime column and they are considering getting rid of him. Im not positve but it looks like he is on his way out." on Tue March 15, 2005 17:45:30

  • This is not a situation where the sports editor of The Ram should be let go. Writing for The Ram is a learning experience. I'm sure he has learned a lesson from this - let him go on from here and become a better journalist. (NT) -- Rambacker, Tue March 15, 2005 21:37:28
