Subject: Who is the KH?

Here's something I ran into that I thought would make a good discussion topic:

Someone somewhere said that the Bene Gesserits thought for a while that Paul was the KH, but realized too late that he wasn't.

What if they were wrong and he was the KH?
The KH is supposed to be the child of an Atreides and a Harkonnen, right?
Well, Leto I is Atreides and Jessica is Harkonnen . . .

(If Paul was the KH, maybe the BGs were wrong about the KH being in many places at once, or maybe they meant it in a different matter. (i.e. Paul saw many different futures from his one perspective, so he at least saw many places at once - if that explanation fails, then at least his name was many places at once while the jihad spread to many planets)
