Besides the tray's ...there was a number of students that skied. The rope tow at FC was a great way of learning the basics of sking before you made the move to Cannon or Mitt.
Upon arriving at FC I quickly learned that your social life during the winter months revolved around the local ski slopes. I was lucky enough to have a local FC student who was an excellent skier take the time to teach me. ( Can't for the life of me remember his name ) He was involved in a nasty sking accident either in 67 or 68? The Tav accident was nasty also. Have to admit we were a fun loving group of misfits. This time of year always brings back memories of getting ready to leave for FC to start the fall term and see the new crop of misfits.
