Geez Louise! Like she is the first woman on earth to kill a deer?

Do you guys just simply forget after all of these years that the townspeople of Franconia actually hunted deer to sustain their families with Venison for the winter? (Sure there were the jerks that came up from the big cities with their 12 packs)- but I ate many a venison dinner at locals homes and they were damned proud to be serving it up!!
Do you forget Arthur and Foot & Big John hunting during the season and providing you with some of the best cooked venison on the planet? (My apologies to any Vegans out there)
Do you remember the cars driving through town with bleeding deers on car tops and windshield wipers running to clear the running blood off? Do you forget "Bow" season?
For many residents of Alaska, hunting for food is a vital part of their lifestyle and emphasizes self-sufficiency and sustainable use - feeding their families.
