thought it might be because where she was working before she had to commute to washington state.
She and her husband had a restaurant down state for a while and had to have a rental down that way to run it till they sold it. too long to commute.

Ricky was one of the guys who bought and restored Corvairs here back then. He would strip the car, weld any problem areas like along seams and weld points where they used to rust through, replace damaged sheet steel and repaint the car. he also rebuilt the flat four engines along with a friend whose dad had owned a gas station and repair business for thirty years who had all the necessary equipment at his house ( he even had a Corveight sitting in his garage with the corvette v-8 center mounted that was a project idea back in the day but even thoughll balanced they had too much HP to be safe enough to drive on the roads.... think somone had an accident on Vermont 101 maybe ( center of the state heading north sout and twisty from the ski areas up towards the capitol ). took out an entire family in a station wagon in the crash... as well as himself of course.
Ricks was a 65 with custom paint two tone cream and green and really nice. Had the four carb manifold I think and plenty of HP from that engine.... sharp ride like a high power sports car.
