The poor buffoon was completely baffled as to what had happened and why anyone would not love him for all he had done for them.

Your pathetic Duce is a war criminal and a common criminal; he has ordered the murder of tens of thousands of Iraqis of all stripes and types, he has installed a brutal and illegal occupation, he has turned loose armed mercenary thug gangs on the populous, and is, personally, a disgrace to his office, his country, and to all humanity. But, it seems, these facts may never become obvious to you and your perpetually bewildered cronies.

His good-by kiss was a tad on the mild side.
