The TL has a crank case breather hose that feeds crank case vapors back into the airbox so that we don't pollute the environment with the oil vapors from the millions of TL's out there. Sounds like you are getting a little oil through this breather hose back into your airbox. You have, I believe, three drain lines out of your air box and I will bet you are getting oil out of the one in the front left side. This also happens to be the area where the breather hose also goes into airbox. When you park your bike for the night the oil will drain over to this side and down the hose. You didn't say how hard you rode your bike before you noticed the oil. Stopping and going around town will make this worse since you don't burn up the vapors and they are allowed to condense after the bike cools off and oil will puddle. This is normal on the TL. If you feel this is too much oil, check your compression since blow-by past the rings will increase crankcase pressure and the result will be more vapors into the airbox and more oil. I would be willing to bet you don't have a problem here.
