CF has no sense of humor to small dings and which will fracture the resin and looks like hell after even a few minor scrapes. The Erwin8R has a 1 piece CF fairing that cost about $1500. Damage a small section on that and you will be replacing the whole ball of wax. Personally I use stock plastic so I can just replace the panel I damaged. Right now I'm on my third set of bodywork which I guess ain't all that ecomonical since I usally need to replace every panel on the bike anyhow. Go figure" on 01:20:05 05/20/04 Thu
