Just play hard ball with your local suzuki importer.
The cracks near the headstock seem to be caused to malicious headstock castings. The later model frames are heavier, and stronger in this area. The reinforcement was for a reason I guess.
Look for the 'cracked frame group' on Yahoo.

Good luck

  • I'm in the process of getting my TLS frame replaced compliments of Suzuki. But mine was cracked at the rear damper mount. I didn't have any problems. It was easy, Suzuki really looked after me, I'm getting new head and swing arm bearing, new exhaust gaskets and all kinds of stuff. (NT) -- rob, 20:19:32 10/22/04 Fri
