I meant twisties above, not wisties. Also the bike has these performance mods:

Aftermarker Slip on pipes (I forgot brand)
K&N Air filter
Some kind of tunable ECU, owner said he had software for laptop.

  • An SV650 tends to be a better choice to start racing, they usually have a more novice-friendly class. You'll get your ass handed to you jumping in against Duc's and RC51's, and you may have a tough time coming up with full bodywork. (you need an enclosed bellypan to race) But certainly anything is possible given enough cash and determination. Where are you located? What race organization are you planning to join?
