Let's see here, you could buy a TLR and with a few mods have an incredibly cool fast enough bike. You could go the RC route and have essentially the same bike performance -wise same mods and probably have a little faster not as cool looking bike, both bikes bring you some historic value, the RC is the twin that did, the TL is the twin that shoulda, coulda been ridden by Mladin, Ducati and Aprilia too expensive for your budget and too expensive to maintain, at least the Duc is. You can find a new TL for and easy 85-9000 otd, use the extra for a pipe and a rear shock, you got yourself a new butt-kickin machine. Thing is , either way you choose you'll be happy, as for your ergonomics, I'm 6-3 over 300 and ride comfortably for hours on My TL, the Honda has a butt wrenching hard seat that you would need to change in a hurry for longer outings I guarantee this for sure. Good luck in your decision
