6 inches = Reckless Driving

Anyone ever got a reckless driving ticket for popping a wheelie? I received one two days ago because my front wheel was off the ground. The screwed up thing was I was not even trying to do a wheelie, I was accelerating and never got over 40 mph and my wheel was not more than 6 inches off the ground. The cop even acknowledged that it was only 6 inches and still gave me a freakin ticket. That make number 4 in 12 months, the other three were in my 2002 Saturn SL2. You think the judge is gonna give me a break for this BS?

Any advice would be appreciated.

That's why I never do a 6" wheelie... You could have proudly displayed your ticket comments under the violation number where the cop wrote the approximate distance, speed and how many gears you went!
