Subject: TLS vs TLR exhaust header pipes

Hi, I need some info. I have a TL1000S (1997) and I due to an unfortunate mishap, I need to replace both exhaust header pipes. It looks to me that the header pipes for TLS and TLR are not the same (the TLR pipes are obviously higher up, and look much cooler!!), regardless… I’m wondering if it is possible to replace the stock pipes of a TLS with the ones from a TLR, without also replacing the sub-frame and the brackets. If it can be done, and cheaply, it would be grate because the availability of TLR parts on eBay far exceeds their TLS counterparts.
I would appreciate any input.
Thanks a bunch
Andrei
