Hi, I hope everyone is well. I have'nt posted for a long while. I found this on a messsage board, and thought i'd share it with you.

I'm not a big drinker, but every year or so I'll really tie one on and have some sort of mad adventure.

I was having a cabaret karaoke birthday party at The Duplex in New York. (The reason it is "cabaret" karaoke is that the Duplex is a cabaret and a lot of the people who show up to sing karaoke are Broadway singers though some are your garden variety drunk as well.)

My friends and sisters had been buying me drinks all night. Woo hoo! I was in line to use the ladies room and looked at the gawjus bartender and told him, "It's my birthday, you should kiss me." and he did.

This is the first time in my life I have planted one on a stranger because I was drunk.

For the rest of the evening whenever I went in or out of the bathroom I'd kiss the bald buff bartender. He was wearing tight jeans, a leather vest, and no shirt. Naturally, the kisses got more elaborate. At one point as we were snogging away I said, "You're gay, right?" He replied "Yeah" and we went back to kissing. Great guy.

I was walking back into the cabaret room and this cute red-haired guy said, "So, the bartender... friend of yours?" I laughed and said,"It's my birthday so he had to kiss me." So cute red-haired guy says, "OK" and proceeds to kiss the heck out of me. (At one point I tell him, "nice ass" and he says, "not bad for 44, right?" and we go back to kissing. Please note, this is the SECOND guy I have ever made out with because I was drunk. What can I say, I'm an overachiever.)

So we stop smooching and I stagger back to my sisters. I tell them, "Cut me off. I just made out with two strangers in five minutes" and tell them the story. We all laugh (and they cut me off).

Then the MC announces, "Hey, this is special, we have an old friend in the audience tonight. Leif! Get up here!"

Sister: OMG, that's Leif Garrett!
Me: OMG, that's the guy I was kissing!

He sang very well. He kissed very well. Later in the evening he was chatting politely with my sisters and me and he helped me down the steps at the end of the night. We were on the sidewalk talking and flirting and I drunkly blurted out, "My sisters don't let me go home with strangers when I'm drunk." Smooth, Trudy, smooth. He laughed said, "Good policy!" kissed me good night and hopped in a cab.

My Sisters then put me in a cab. I don't mean they sent me home, I mean they ESCORTED me home. I'm squished between them and tell them about our conversation and they laugh.

Lucky lucky girl.

How is everyone? things are going great here. I started school Jan. 5 and so-far-so good....Don't let anyone tell you that Digital audio Production is easy because they would either be lying or have been doing it for 50 years...LOL...Seriously it is a lot to learn and we haven't even been in a studio yet.

It has been a while since I have been here. How is everyone? It has been one wild year with me. I am going back to school(the beginning of the new year) to learn audio production. I SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO want to produce music one day. Maybe if I get a job in that field I will get to work with Leif!!! WOOOO HOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! I would love to be in the studio with him. Just to say I was part of that disc. How cool would it be to have your name on a Leif Garrett cd...????!!!!! I think that would be AWSOME!!!

I haven't posted in awhile (shame on me) I really miss everybody. Well here is my story: I was getting ready for a second interview for a new job and I was looking for a necklace to go with my outfit. Since my rings, watch and bracelet were all silver I wanted the necklace to be silver too. The only one I could find was the "Leif" pendant I had made (some of us remember them). So I wore it, hoping for luck. Well, I got offered the job. So was it luck or fate? Thanks Leif!!!! What an inspiration!

Anybody got a copy of the old Suddenly Susan episode, any interviews, Scream Heard Round the World or the Bio they'd like to sell? Had all of them on my DVR - it had a mind of it's own and ERASED everything. Well, I guess some of it WAS on there for a really long time. But I even had a copy of the bio on VHS, sent it to a friend who supposedly fried it and can't send it back. ? Whatever. Hope somebody can help me out in restocking my LG video library! lol. Well, I did record both the David Cassidy and the Leif Biographies, but I have an issue. We have Time Warner all-in-one digital, and when my phone rings the number appears on my TV screen. Of course this had to happen during the Leif Biography. I can make copies, but I would have to edit out the unpublished number that called me, or make it go away somehow, and I don't know if that's possible. I'm watching to see when the next airing will be, and I'll try recording it again and telling people NOT to call me that night. *Sorry* TL

- I thought the bio was well done. I dont remember the fans plug, but I remember his former manager talking about all of us coming from India and Germany :) Leif really is lucky to have such loyal fans. I agree that it was really good to hear from Dawn Lyn...to hear her version of how things were and how Leif changed to what he is now. It looks like she has it together and I wish only happiness for her. I was happy to see Brad. He's a good guy and was nice to us. As for chat, I'm sure Michael will come if he is available. - Thanks, TL. When the archives are full, the forum needs to be manually rotated with a message rebuild. If you backup message database first, nothing will be lost, then go do the message rebuild. I've bought the italian version of the Leif movie debut BOB & CAROL & TED & ALICE. But in the credits i can't see his name,and the guy is really small..Leif in 1969 has got 7-8,not five like many books scribe..is really him?

Well I am looking on Amazon.com for that Movie 'Critters' that Jules was asking about and found a movie listed that Leif (supposedly) has lent his 'AMAZING VOICE TOO'..It is called..."Samurai X 1...I am going to try and post the link to the page here...If it doesn't work just go to Amazon.com and search for Leif...

Hey, guys,
This is the first time I have done this. I hope you welcome newcomers! I have been a fan since my teens! It is so great to see other people still, follow Leif. I must admit, I hadn't followed him, for the past several years. But, every once in while, that guy just creeps up in my mind & dreams. I would love to keep updated on him and any tour dates. And if anyone is going to see him I am in for a flight anywhere, and would love to meet new people. Thank you for giving me the space to introduce myself. Looking forward to chatting with you, and so on....I just went to the chat room, I was all excited and no one was there, Bummer!

- It's not on the Fuse channel. It's on Fuse On Demand which is accessed with your remote control...go to your On Demand area of the menu to see if you have it. I don't think many people do. Just wanted to stop and say Hi. I haven't posted for a long time on here but will always remain a fan. I just want to say THANKS so much Bonnie and Tina Lyn for keeping us in the loop with Leif shows. I do have his name set in my tivo but sometimes it doesn't pick up everything that he is on. I appreciate the email letting us know what shows he is going to be on. Loved the bio last night.I wished they would have interviewed him more, but it was also great to hear from Dawn Lyn. Hopefully we will see alot more of Leif in the future. Have a great day girls!!
