What did Dee do? Prior to BC's sr. year EVERYONE had him labled as too soft. Dee's energy and enthusiasm couldn't help but rub off on the entire team (including BC) and consequently BC went off an became the Big 10 POY after finishing not 1st, not 2nd, but 3rd in the pre-season voting. Brian Cook went from a projected 2nd rounder to a guaranteed 1st rounder.
Take a look at the question marks about SP- soft? injury-prone? not explosive enough? Not too different than those facing BC when he came into U of I.
If Dee can get S Dot to come with it everynight......

Everyone readily admits that Pruitt is one of the most skilled big men in the country. Anyone who is arguing against that is just plain biased. What confuses everyone is the question about Pruitt's (for lack of a better term) "heart" (I hate going there when talking about kids, but that's what's being said). Dee Brown is the type of leader who just gets people to follow him. It's like Favre with the Pack, people would lay down and die for them if they asked it seems like. Put that kind of "heart" into Pruitt and now you've got a 6'9" ultra-skilled, lefty and you're telling me he's not League material?
