But I would ask that maybe just putting in all names of those inactive characters into the LS board be rethought. I was truly shocked and upset when I realized that someone had taken over Elaini, because she is one of my first and most worked on characters. Her entire bio is written out in a Word document that I tweaked for quite a long time. I consider her mine, and mine only, and unfortunately the internet has no way of adding a copywright to her. So, she was in that right stolen from me.

One thing certain. If I wanted Elaini back I would be getting her back, simply put, all plots aside. She's mine. Always.

But seeing as her entire character has been turned and shaped into someone that I no longer can identify with as mine, I am not inclined to steal her away. Her paradigm has been set, and the characters only see the side that I never created. Taking and changing her back to how I intended would be moot.

I am always going to consider Elaini my character, though she is played by another. Somewhat like an author who writes a book, then someone else writes a sequel with the same characters. She is mine, just played by another.

But no, I'll be joining a Candidate character sometime this week or next week I believe. She or he may be similar to Elaini, or not. I have yet to decide.

But never tell me I can't take my own character back. That's foolish, and not your decision. I never gave anyone permission to use her, which is why I think this Lost Souls board should be slightly rethought. Then again, my circumstances are slightly out of the ordinary anyway. Plus, I hope I'm a little nicer than going and jealously taking back a character that Deystar has become so involved with. I already know I won't be taking her back, and I am very glad that she went to a player that became attached and did not leave her inactive...as I did, unfortunately.

I could go on for another few paragraphs, but I'll restrain from my long-windedness and go to class now.

ciao

Hype
