    Several canine like shadowy figures approached. Although they resembled wolves, there were several differences. For one, these canines were larger, in body size and shorter in neck length. Also the dewclaw actually left a mark in the snow. But the most telling sign that these creatures were not wolves was the fact that they spent part of their life as a human.

    Okay, here's the deal. The lightning storm fried my modem, so it doesn't recognize my dial tone... all this means is I can't get online, though the rest of my comp is okay. I'm buying a new modem but I'll be dead for a couple weeks. Go see my site for the full story, as I don't want to take their comp for too long. Sigh. I hate imposing on people. x,x;;

    My chars will, needless to say, be inactive for a while yet. Kitty has my permission to play whomever she wants/needs... most notably Shula... just to keep KRPG alive until I return. Gah. Everyone better stay active there, otherwise Atumi'll be knocking some heads from shoulders. ^_^ I'll need him to take out my anger... so I might just randomly find time to post him every week or so.     Is somebody alive in Bedea? The game's got a lot of chances for some mini plots for players to engage in and I would really hate to see it fade away into unactiveness. A thief getting caught, people bumping into each other in the market place and ending up in a verbal fight, others making friends; the possibilities are almost endless. =^.^= But without activity it's quite impossible. =/

    I know that many of you are starting school at this time of the year (me included), but I am sure that since you found time to join you could manage a post every now and then, right? =)

    So pretty please? -pleading look- I don't want to have to end up RPing with myself all the time when I am feeling bored and lonely (and sad). ;D

    Dude! Happy birthday Kitty! It's so ironic! How old are ye?

    The reason I'm asking.... is 'cause August 23rd is MY birthday too! WOOT! I'm 17 now =P Boo yeah! I had a mongo birthday party last night... and am still recovering. ^_^ No alcohol products were used (I'm still a minor, now... and most of my guests were either A) over 30 or B) under 12. O,o
    I got some really neat stuff. No car keys (drat) but I did get something better.... A HORSE! I actually got him a few weeks ago... but we call him 'my car' XD! His name is Dusty and he is a GORGEOUS chestnut tobiano Tennessee Walking Horse. 3ys old and shows it =P I swear he acts just like a human 3yr old. And a dog. XD! He follows us around the pasture and licks the salt off our skin. (he licked my neck once... O,o)

    All in all... it's been a good birthday.

    Again, happy birthday Kitty-ping-pong! And no, I'm not going anywhere... school starts tomorrow but I don't think it'll keep me from RP'ing too much... but a 9:00 bedtime is driving me up the STINKIN' WALL! 9:00! That's cruel and unusual punishment for a senior in high school! Darn curfew-believing mothers. -,-

    I DID post T'gan. Finally. Sorry THIS one took so long too; school just started the 6th, and things are rather... chaotic. I hope to finish the lessons by the end of September, posting one/two a week depending on how fast people reply. I'm kinda gonna... skim the practice-type stuff - skip straight to longer flights when we're done with firestone, then go straight to between without practice sessions - unless Kitty or Sushi mind? They've just been weyrlings for what, 3 or 4 months? Not that I'm really helping - as you may have noticed, T'gan and I have been having activity problems - but that's what I hope to fix.

    Anyway, on another subject, BLESS YOU whoever plays W'ren and Datoth! And can someone else show up, so we can actually have this flight? Since right now all the weyrlings currently active are (I think) former DRoP players, and we're loosing the candidates fast, I would think Kylith needs to fly soon.... Or at least, I show it to my friends, and they don't want to adopt Lost Souls; they say, "Tell me again when there's a clutch". Which sucks.

    The spambots came through recently and found one of my disposable addresses. Therefore, "meheral.10.evolute@spamgourmet.com" is no longer functional. In fact, anytime I post an address that ends in @spamgourmet.com or @xoxy.net, it will only work for a month or so afterwards, maybe longer.

    I, too, will be somewhat absent from the boards for a while -- until I get settled in at school, which starts Monday! I'm taking Philosophy, Psychology, and Human Anatomy & Physiology.

    I'm afraid that your boards site no longer supports my browser, or else it's just being wierd. Whenever I go to any of the boards, it says "javascript error" and then crashes the program. I don't speak computer, unfortunately, and thus cant give any more details except that Hannah, Maelar, Sonya and Lillian can be considered "on vacation" until I figure out what's going on.

    I find myself engaged in but one RPG with but one char. Eegad, am I losing my love of RP'ing? I pray not. Anyway, that one char is Likhayti in KRPG. I know she just got there, but mom's having a huge garage sale at my grandma's and we're going to just stay over there for the rest of the week. Pfffht.

    Anyway... that's my sour news for the moment. But I have good news. An old player has come back to the realm of Sushi-ran RPG's, hopefully for a more... committed... stay this time. Who am I? I'm keeping it a secret until A) I'm found out, or B) everyone promises not to shred my hide if I tell. *skittish tailtwitch*
    Why would they want to shred my hide? Let's just say I fell inactive at the crucial time when the Drakka were invading Terole. I feel it's my fault that those ugly frantes took over the land many of my chars called home. Rawr.

    Tenji is suffering because of the infections she's caught because of her wounds from the battle previously. Right now she might either end up dying, or I might bring Kerdar, my other too-bitter-for-her-own-good character, back in play, and pit them together. Unless something else happens. And if someone wants to beat Tenji up then by all means do so. She's so expecting everyone to attempt to tear her into pieces. teehee.. Or something else.. (can you tell that I'm trying to get more active? teehee)

    And as for Bedea.. if anyone wants to RP then I'm usually up for some weird scenes (and also some normal ones, just imagine that! ;] ).

    From looking at colleges and swimming all summer long for swim team. I'm 13th in the state in freestyle, nothing to boast but I'm glad I made it there. Just returned from Band Camp where I also had to bust my lazy bum. Senior year's gonna screw me silly by way of no free time and no sleep time, so no characters will be popping up with my OOC name attached, but just thought I'd give a wave.

    Anyone else applying to college this year, and where perhaps. I can't remember if your a junior or a senior Sushi. As for me I'll be hanging about in my home state of boring ville Georgia, going to the smaller schools nobody hears about: LaGrange (hopefully) Agnes Scott, or Berry.

    Although it's not another lesson post (unless you're Jeleta, I guess); I don't have time for that right now. I meant to post him nearly a month ago; I'm really sorry I took so long. To borrow a phrase from a friend, my offline life has been completely turned upside down, and then shaken for good measure. Long and complicated stories.... Anyway, the next lesson WILL be posted Saturday evening, if I have to bike to the library to do it.

    And on another note: you guys have prolly heard this before, but DON'T drink and drive. You're not the only person you're putting at risk. Suicide through alcohol is one thing, but murder through alcohol is another.

    School starts back for me this Thursday, argh, even if it is junior year. But most of the Korat fighting is being posted late late at night. At least late for me, if I even knew what timezone I was in :P I think Central is it here in "supposed to be sunny Florida".     Horse Territory is a beginner to intermediate horse role-playing game that is quite unique. Why is it unique, you wonder? Well, Horse Territory has been opened for about two years, and there are are many members. There are even members that have been around since the near-start of the game. The layout has changed from some dinky Expage version, to a nicer version with more advanced HTML on a Geocities site. There is even a counter so you can see how many other people are on at the same time you are. I have this thing about counters. Haha. They are great. After five versions, Horse Territory looks very good, though it's not yet perfected. There will probably be a few more versions until I am satisfied with the layout completely. Another reason that I say Horse Territory is unique is because of the diversity over the place. Horse Territory is obviously going to be mainly a horse RPG, but there is also a wolf pack, lion pride, and an area for humans. The game is fairly realistic, but there are some things that definitely wouldn't happen in reality. For example, horses, wolves, and lions are all allowed to use speech. In the wild, horses basically do use speech, just in a different way than humans. Yet, I keep Horse Territory mostly realistic, despite a few minor details. It wouldn't be as much fun if it were completely realistic. I get new members quite often, but it's nice to have even more. If you are intermediate/advanced, it's a nice game to come, and relax at. There are friendly people, and everyone is always willing to help if you are trying to improve with your RPing skills. So, I definitely recommend this RPG to anyone who can be active, and creative. At least check it out, and read some of the posts of people. Oh, Horse Territory is always looking for other equine RPG's to be Sister Sites with. Post on the OOC Board if you would like to request to be Sister Sites with Horse Territory. So, come and take a look...

    (Your character must be accepted into the game. That is a new feature, for I'm getting tired of people that have no idea how to role-play, and they think they know how, but don't.)

    I'm feeling very creative. I'm going to hold a poll... on which of these RPGs to make first. I favour some over others, so that might warp it a bit. Anyways... these are the most recent version of everything.

    1.) Aquilia- Requiem
    Version 5
    Is Aquilia the same old good vs. evil vs. neutral, as it begun five years ago? Does it include the half-creature Beastials that is had begun with? No. If I decide to open Aquilia- Requiem, I will have a different set of species to join as, and attempt to reinstate some of the first Aquilia's facets, such as the species' areas and the three Wise Dragons. But I expect a good level of activity and care. Aquilia was my first game, of all time. Five years ago - okay okay, maybe four - I opened it, and it still means something to me.

    2.) Baratombia- Provectum
    Version 4
    The Byrmulf is back. I've gotten a lot from Baratombia before. I love this game, as well. And this go around, I've got more stuff to do. Demons, some new species, revised pets and, most of all... technology. Yup, the medieval days and the far future will coexist in Baratombia in this version. Anyway... why, you ask, Provectum? I think, in Latin, it means to carry on or to bring forth a new generation... a new Age.

    3.) The Shadow Parliament
    Version 1
    I've talked a lot about this one. Shown some of you the pieces I have of it. But I've sort of lost my motive to work on it. Still love the idea, of course... the remnants of the human race on their new Earth, at peace with the other sentients - pretty much - but with the small government gone corrupt and some conspiracies and rumours... and unexplained murders and events, dished out by mwoi. Not too fond of this one any more, but my interest might be rekindled in the future.

    4.) Shadowswake Mercenary Academy
    Version 2
    I... never released this one. It's as it says, though. In the middle of space, there's a chain of floating islands suspended in a bubble of atmosphere where you train with your digilant peers as practically any sentient that uses humanoid weaponry... if you know what I mean... anyway, I loved this game from what I had of it.

    If you remember any of my other games, no matter how insignificant or weird, I'll consider it. But not Dragon's Gale. Not yet. I just don't want to open DG for a while; I need some time to renovate and rethink things.

    Heads up, guys! You wanted a battle, I'll give you a battle. Keep your eyes on all the IC boards over the next few days. Read everything and see if you can guess exactly what's going to happen... Basically, try to be OOCly alert so when things suddenly explode into action, it doesn't take everyone a week to notice. >,< Kay? Kay. ^_^;; Oh, and yes... Korats can and will die in this. Of course, I'm not going to kill any of them myself... oh, this is a good time to explain the 'battle system'.

    I will play the enemies during the very beginning of the battle, dishing them out, so to speak, to whomever posts and arrives and etc. (That way, we don't have things attacking inactive Korats...) Once the battle gets started, you play whoever attacks you after they attack you. If you're not RPing it well and REALISTICALLY (though your chars might be skilled, I guarantee you the enemies will be moreso), then I'll ICly step in and dish out some pain to your char for being invincible. I'll also play the enemies at the end of the battle, when they 'retreat', or if they switch focus to another char. You can work together, have your chars gang up on their groups of enemies (yes, we'll probably be outnumbered) or your chars can help another player's chars if they aren't doing as well. This'll help us cut down on casualties. If you're not sure of what your enemies are capable of, check my chars' posts (especially Numi, I'll make an example outta her XD). If you don't think you're up to RPing your enemies, leave a little OOC note in your post, or reply to this, and I'll play them against you... because I'm such a sweet, kind marauder. XD!

    Mmkay, that's all my lecture-ness for now. Just remember... keep your eyes peeled on ALL the boards. I mean, there are only six... ~_^

Jackie is a piebald (capped/blazed) with parents probably an albinism-heterozygous piebald and a Berkshire, and the father was probably an albino (which is homozygous recessive). I'm selling the males to pet stores AS PETS ONLY, and the females to individuals...maybe for free. But only if I know they won't be fed to snakes or some such other horrible fate.

    5 years ago a boy became a man and a prince became a king. That person was dubbed Prince Cedrielcio or Cedric as most know him.

    His father was the good king Daeron and his mother, Queen Lafeel. Both charished their son more than the world and the heavens knew.

    Now on Prince Cedrics 18th day of birth, Cedrics father bestowed upon him the crown and all the responsabilities of ruling a kingdom. He gave his son the Kingdom of Kinheaga.

    1 year passes as Cedric is guided by his parents in the ways of governing his kingdom properly so that he could maintain the good name his father had set for him and his kingdom.

    A second year passes under King Cedrics rule and the kingdom of Kinheaga flourishes but King Daerons health does not. On the on the 3rd of the 4th month of the second year Cedrics father passes on.

    It hits hard then that Cedric was nearing his year to take a queen. So he set out into the local lands to find a women worthy of helping him rule. finding none to his liking he searches outside of the kingdom only to return a full year later without a wife.

    Just a note... In a few days I'm gonna weed out inactive members from KRPG. If I know the player's active with at least some of their chars, then I won't delete any of their chars, but I'd appreciate it if some of you with a ton of Korats would play them all. (Example-- QoC is staying active at Etreus but I haven't seen her Korats post since 6-13...) If there's nothing for your chars to do, make something for 'em to do! ^_^ Especially on a free IC day.

    'Ello, I have a question.

    Second thing is in regards to my character Gerwyn from the KRPG. I will be a lil' slow to post for a little while...
    The principal at BHS is trying to fire my band director. I don't know if any of you are in band, but I don't know if anyone else can know what a bond there is between a band and it's director. Basically, the stupid principal is trying to get rid of the best adult friend I have (besides my parents of course). So my friends and I spend all our time nowadays trying to keep Mr. P from getting fired. Literally, all of our time. Because of this I am definitely going to be slow in posting/replying. I am here, I have not fallen off the face of the planet I'm just trying to push Principal Stupid off the edge of the planet, lol. I'll be on when I can be.     Hey guys. If there's any player at New Isle who thinks they have enough OOC knowledge to be a Weyrlingmaster, please reply to this post. You don't hafta have a char to fit the descrip, you just gotta be active and responsible enough (unlike yours truly) to get the job done. Not saying T'yin's giving up his rank, just that we could use two Weyrlingmasters. ^_^;; If I know you personally, then I can judge, but if not, name some of your NIW chars or gimme a brief RP-sample so I can poke the quality of your writing. ~_^ If you don't already have a char that can step up ICly to the rank, then I'll let you join ONE rider-dragon pair to do so.

    The Royal Galactic Interstellar Academy Role-Playing Game takes place in the naval academy for which the game is named, on a spaceport circling the planet Turo. To start, would-be players create profiles for original characters based in the realm of Disney's animated movie Treasure Planet. Once accepted, players will be given the location of the message board where role-playing takes place. Aged between the years of sixteen and twenty, cadets interact with other characters just trying to survive their challenging years in the naval academy. Cadets will be given assignments and missions to complete in order to develop their talents as a future member of the Queen's Armada.

    The game takes place ten years after the discovery of Treasure Planet. Jim Hawkins himself graduated from the Academy five years prior and is now a famous and respected naval captain in service to the Queen.

Y'all may have noticed that I posted a while back saying I would be gone for three days. ^^;; Well, it was more along the lines of four days I discovered, and upon getting back, my parents kept me busier than I thought, and I had NO time to get on the computer before I was shipped off to Surf Camp for a week...ehe. I got back from that only to find out that our computer with internet access had crashed when my 'rents had tried to install XP.     ...but only for a week. Then I'll be back. So, to make a short story long, I'll be leaving on this Sunday, and coming back Saturday (No, the next one, not the day before!). An uncle who teaches at this one school up in MD, he's leading a school trip in Amherst county with the Monacan Indian Nation. It's a sort of a service project, really.

    *Hums absentmindedly, then picks up info form again and scans it over. Yelps as he realizes that he'll be spending a week with a bunch of middle-schoolers in the middle of bump.huck*

    Meheral will be on a little sabbatical for that week. (Unless there's a laptop with a wireless modem at the Monacan Indian place.)

    *starts searching for instructions on building a modem out of materials found in the woods*

    So, somebody tell Sushi, maybe? I'll be gone before she gets back.

    As I think some of you know, El is now out of school and free in that regard. But lately my family's been having some trouble so I've been moody and uninspired and NOT MUCH FUN.

    But I've been working on it, and I swear I will try to post more in the coming week, from my Korats to my dragons, I just need to take it one paw at a time. It's been really difficult finding something good to look forward to, and I'm sorry if you've talked to me and I've been snappy or out of it or upset. My life has been sheer, unadulterated btsa for awhile. And it's slowly starting to change. So on with the posting. I think it'll be okay, I hope it will. And now, for the ligher side of El.

    As far as we know, Old Souls is placed in an area somewhere in
    northern Canada. Here the wilderness there is so endlessly huge and
    untouched that wolves can freely roam without ever seeing man.

    Nature gives the inhabitants here enough problems, not to mention that
    the biggest threat otherwise are other wolves. None the less, the wolves
    doesn't live far enough from man then that his dogs can manage to
    find their way here. Some manages to life up, other perish like
    many before them.

    It's been like this since anyone here can remember. Wolves come
    and go, life give and take. Everyone follow the old ways, as they
    know nothing else, and history often repeats itself. For better
    and for worse.
