One question though, FF. Why DID you change his name? I mean, B'fen sounds OK to me. Now, what's Dragonseye called over here...arg...it's Red Star Rising, or something like that. WHY did they change the title? It's as ridiculous as changing Harry Potter to "the Sorcer's Stone" over there! What's the difference?
The thing about Anne McCaffery that gets me is her characters - I really have to LIKE characters in a book that I read. I didn't find Dragonflight or the White Dragon enjoyable, because I hated F'lar and Jaxom. And also the way she COMPLETELY ignores green and blue riders, except in The Skies of Pern. Even then Tai is still looked down on. I mean, name me one blue or green rider in a book except that one, and maybe apart from Mirrim, that is a main character?
Ah well.
