Stealing the tapes won't do you much good unless you have a beta-tape player, I'm afraid. I've been camped out in the basement recently because that's where I am.

Unfortunately, I haven't yet met the third Doctor, or Bessie. I've only been hooked for about two months now - I'd been interested before that, but Dad only NOW got around to telling me we had these, even though I'd talked about being interested before in his presence. *rolls eyes* I love my Dad, but... well, considering I inheirited that not-hearing-what-other-people-say thing from him, I guess I can't complain TOO loudly. And he had an obsession with the fourth Doctor, so except for the "Trial of a Time Lord" episodes, I've only seen Tom Baker in action. They aren't even in any kind of order (again, with the exception of "Trial of a Time Lord"). I was all miffed at Dad because at the beginning of the first episode of The Key of Time, when the Doctor's meeting the White Guardian, he comes up behind me and says, "The White Guardian actually turns out to be the Black Guardian at the end." And then the very next episode on that tape is one set well after The Key of Time, concerning the Black Guardian... so I guess Dad really did have a good reason for telling me after all.

Still, there are times when I want to beat him for his haphazard organization of these things.
