I've one little comment... as you said, the books say that Firelizards can't speak mentally in words at all. They can share mental emotions, or images, or even just colors, and they make trills and cheeps and other high-pitched noises aloud.

But yeah, the point of that.. ^_^;; Basically, just be careful of copyright infringement. Gotta be careful with that and all.
