I have a best friend. She's like a sister to me. And I just realised.. this winter, she'll have been my friend for eleven years.

Nostalgia
Let’s run through the glen
Like we used to, all those years ago.
Remember in December when the
Snow was freshly felled?
We made snow angels and
Had snowball fights,
(You always put a little rock in yours)
We’d go behind my house
And sled down all the hills,
Our cheeks flushed with the cold.
It was twilight before we
Made the long trek home
Over frosted fields.
We’d play out in that December,
Make believe.
I miss those years of innocence
Even though they will always remain
