Subject: Oh, and just because I can, and because I am in that sort of mood..

The nation today is divided. After the election of 2000, our country is particularly partisan, and it is as if the whole of the U.S. is split down political lines.

Now, we need something to unite the nation. Not a war, after all, the only people doing anything in a war are overseas. No, we need something at home, that will touch the lives of ALL Americans.



Something...


Something that will bring both parties together under one agenda, that will let the Radical Right stand tall beside the Liberal Left, proud.

Hot debate has recently sprung up over two issues: The renewal of the ban on assault weapons, and the Federal Marriage Amendment. Pish-posh, I say! Scrap them both, and together, as ONE nation, support the uniting principle of-


GUNS FOR GAYS!!!


That's right, ladies and gentleman, liberals and conservatives, I believe that arming every disgruntled homosexual in America with assault weapons is a policy we can all stand behind, One Nation, Under God(or whomever), with common goals.

Now I would like to address an issue that is just as dear to the heart of America, but is perhaps more tragic. The war vets, you know, they have it rough. Particularly the ones with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. I, personally, would like to see something done to ease the pain and the fear felt in their lives every day. Something to make them feel safe, and at the same time, remind them that they are back home in the good ol' U.S.A., Land Of The Free, not some godforsaken country of jungles and constant paranoia. I say- FREE ASSAULT WEAPONS FOR WAR VETS WITH P.T.S.D! NOW WHO'S WITH ME??!!
