A bright flare of hope shot through the satyr's heart, and was just as quickly pressed down within him, the voice within his mind determining that he was only prolonging the inevitable. The bushi watched as Matsu slipped through the bars, letting a faint smile wash across his face.

His voice was soft, and in Japanese as he tryed to think of some way out of the cage that restrained him. "Honored Lady... the House will be weaker for the loss of it's master. He sought to take that which was not his."

Vaguely stiffly, Ikari gestured to the healing wounds on his body.
