These have been very interesting to read. I agree with others that the secret to a good, long marriage is to make sure you marry the right one in the first place.

My parents were married for nearly 64 years until my dad died 2 years ago.

They had 4 children:
My brother and sister-in-law have been married for 44 years.
My older sister and brother-in-law have been married for 38 years.
My younger sister and her husband have been married for 33 years.
I have been married to my husband for 35 years.

I guess our parents set a good example for us.

Unfortunately, our children didn't seem to follow in our footsteps, as each of us has a child who has gone through a divorce.
