We were talking about "a coon's age". That's not a racial slur. Never was.

Everyone knows that coon (alone) can be used as a racial slur. It's used that way all over the country, even way up here in New England, and as you said, even further north.

It's settled. A coon's age isn't a racial slur. No one here said anything off-color. All is well. Case closed. :)
